Our Story
We moved to rural Alaska over twenty years ago to raise our 3 kids. After years of homeschooling as well as years teaching in the public schools, we know firsthand how frustrating it can be to work with dry cookie-cutter programs, so we created a homeschool outpost where everything is right here for you, making your teaching experience customized, calm, and as unique as your child!
Restoring Awe and Wonder
We believe teaching shouldn’t isn't about checking a box or taking a test. It's about connecting with your children, nurturing their individuality, and cultivating in them a deep sense of curiosity and wonder about the world.
Homeschooling our 3 kids, we saw firsthand how different learners can be. Teaching in the public school gave even more insight into how every child learns differently. Maybe one of your kids loves to move and struggles to sit still, while another can’t get enough to read.
